Capital Card Convention
An owned trading-card convention built from zero — by collectors, for collectors.
Our Role
Event concept, naming and branding, curation of vendors and partners, and production — an owned event, founded and creative-directed rather than delivered for a client.

The Story
Berlin's collector scene had no dedicated sports-card and trading-card-game fair of its own — the community traded online or travelled for it. The brief was the hardest kind: build an owned event from zero.

The Idea
"Von Sammlern für Sammler" — by collectors, for collectors: a fair built around trading and playing rather than selling alone, with a vendor floor, TCG tournaments, learn-to-play tables and trade-and-play evenings under one illustrated brand world.

The Work
A recurring convention with its own identity — illustrated key visuals, mascots and event graphics — grown from Berlin's Napoleon Komplex to a 2026 edition inside Leipzig's Caggtus festival, with partners like Cardmarket and Ultimate Guard.

Result & Significance
The 2026 edition runs on 20,000 m² with 110 vendor tables — an owned community event that compounds year to year.
