Novo poglavlje / New Chapter

Somehow we are already used to the fact that what we are used to in previous years is very changeable. The past and the current year have denied all our efforts to continue with the rut and the established rhythm, it has brought many sacrifices, transformations, and even ends. Hip Hop has always found its way, adapting minimally, giving its best in an instant. Thus, this spring, in a few days, from April 23 to 30, the 2Hot4Stage festival will be held in a slightly different format, trying to respect all epidemiological measures, but also save the mental health of all young people who are eager for such events. The event will last as long as eight days, and each day is set with a different activation at a different location in the city. Some of the festival days will be completely online for visitors.

According to the organizer, the festival will try to restore hope in basic human needs through various activities, such as empathy, personal culture, gratitude and social responsibility, which we have the impression have disappeared in recent years.

What we single out from the event is the third day of the festival, which is reserved for art workshops. Guest Jester, who comes to us from Turkey, and is known for the fusion of popular break and contemporary dance, will hold a dance workshop. Music production workshops and rap songwriting workshops were led by musician Kendi, who in recent years has also performed under the pseudonym Pablo Kennedy, and in front of the publishing house Aristokrat Music. The workshop that deals with the process of creating a song from the beginning to the end will be led by Papi Jaaz, the first man of the mentioned publishing house.

Among the numerous events at the festival, and through revue events such as street art sessions in the skate park, the organizers point out the knowledge quiz “I’m not ashamed to know something”, which will be organized at the Cultural Center Grad, April 27, as well as rhyming with random drawn words “Words in the face. Words of the street.”, where on the same day the participants will draw the words and make the best combination of rhymes for their song. On Friday, April 23, we will have an interesting activation of “Gaming battle”, where a 1 on 1 competition will be held in the video games “Bboy” and “Just Dance” in the Portal Gaming World at Kombank Hall.

Applications for participation in activations and workshops are possible via e-mail prijave2h4s@gmail.com, and places are very limited due to epidemiological measures.

Valuable prizes, gifts and vouchers of the Buzz Sneaker Station concept have been prepared for all the winners of these activities.

All activations and the program of the festival can be followed on the instagram page @2hot4stage, or directly on the facebook page of the event 2HOT4STAGE FEST 2021.
