Belgrade, SerbiaAbout

From a city magazine to a city ecosystem.

RUN BGD started as a platform for the culture Belgrade doesn't put on postcards. It's grown into four things that work together — and this is how.

The Story

Over a decade

For over a decade, RUN BGD has covered Belgrade's actual culture — the music, food, style, nightlife and everyday life the guidebooks skip. That reporting is still the base everything else is built on.

The rest grew out of doing the work. Years spent finding and vouching for the city's best places became a curated map. Producing RUN BGD's own content and events led to producing it for other brands too — an agency. And putting the RUN BGD name on real, physical things, sold to the people who'd been reading the platform for years, became a store — with a plan for a physical home to bring all of it under one roof.

Four pillars, one platform. Here's what each one actually does.

Team & Network

RUN BGD is run by a small team based in Belgrade, working with a wider network of photographers, editors, developers and producers across the city's creative and hospitality scene — the same network behind the map, the stories and the agency's client work.
